Google to buy Double Click?

Rumblings out of the dotcom world today, is Google buying Double Click? Microsoft has been mentioned in a deal for a couple months now, to purchase the advertising giant.
Wow, this would be an enormous move for google. I wonder how this will effect google’s adsense program, and the new cpa advertising model they are now starting. What are your thoughts? Is this good or bad?

Scary. I think we are all better off if we have more than one dominate publishing network.

I hope anyone buys doubleclick. Its so hard to get into, they have isolated themselves from the rest of the market. Maybe if someone bought them, the smaller online publisher would have a chance to get in.
Google will probably incorporate doublelcick into adsense.

Great news. Maybe now the average publisher can actually get approved to doubleclicks rediculous standards.
